A People’s History of Capitalism video booth
commissioned by the Museum of Capitalism (2017)
with support by Misty Periard and FICTILIS
If Capitalism ends, how might we collectively commemorate and historicize it? The Musuem of Capitalism, curated by FICITILIS, proposes that artists may have a lot to offer.
The People’s History of Capitalism booth collects and archives video interviews from museum-goers. Participants were asked a series of short questions, from “What was your first job?” to “What will you miss most about Capitalism?”. I designed and fabricated the booth along with the ipad app built with ResearchKit.
